In 2016, virtual education app Virtual K-2 VR offered virtual-reality education to schools around the country.
The app featured videos and educational content from around the world and was developed by virtual-studies startup M.E.M. and VR education platform K3.
Today, the company is releasing its own version of the app, titled Virtual K8, which was recently launched for free on the Oculus Store.
“K8 is a completely new, completely different approach to education,” M.
Es. director of education, Laura Eisemann, told The Verge.
“There’s not really a core curriculum.
It’s a completely different way of teaching that focuses on the learning process, rather than just teaching content.
There’s a lot of learning and teaching in there.”
