“The kids can get the tools and they can be immersed in this learning experience.”
We’ve created the National Institute for Educational Research (NIE) for the study of the effects of online learning on learning, and we are in the process of launching the first NIE study.
We’ve done studies around the world, and what we found is that online learning does have benefits, especially when kids have some form of difficulty in the traditional classroom environment.
This new research on learning on the go provides a new model to study the effect of learning on kids, but it’s also a glimpse into how to use technology in an effective way to teach students how to interact with computers and technology in a real-world context.
This study is part of the NIE’s ongoing research on the effects online learning has on learning.
The study is also one of the first of its kind, and it’s important because it provides a model that can be applied across many different contexts, said NIE principal investigator Mark Lissauer.
In the future, Lissau hopes to use the data collected to develop a more sophisticated learning model that is more inclusive, inclusive of all kids, and more inclusive of teachers.
“We know that we have a lot of learning gaps between the kids in different contexts,” he said.
“We know we need to figure out ways to better understand what they need to learn.”
